1/2 cup butter
2 cups self-rising flour (or 2 cups all purpose flour plus 3 tsp baking powder and 1/2 tsp salt)
2 cups white sugar
2 cups milk
3 1/2 cups fresh blackberries
Melt butter in a 9x13 baking dish. Mix flour, sugar and milk. Pour over the butter. DO NOT MIX! Drop blackberries over top. Bake at 350* for 1 hour.
